In Modi's 'Make in India,' most things are 'Made in China' says Rahul Gandhi
Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi while speaking at 'Sanjhi Virasat Bachao' programme organized by senior Janata Dal (United) leader Sharad Yadav on Thursday said that Modi Ji gave 'Make In India' but most things are 'Made In China'. While taking a jibe at PM Narendra Modi's Make in India initiative, Rahul said,''Truth is that Modi Ji's Make In India has failed.''
Continuing the attack on BJP-RSS, he said, "According to RSS, the country belongs to 15-20 industrialists. India will be run by these 15-20 people. They will promote PM Narendra Modi's marketing strategy." He further said, "the Constitution says one man one vote but RSS wants to change the Constitution." Rahul Gandhi also said, "RSS did not salute the tricolor till the time they did not rule the country." He said,''RSS says that this country belongs to them; they beat up dalits in Gujarat.''
Rahul also said,''There are two ways to look at one's country. This country belong to me or I belong to it. This is different for us & RSS.''
Rahul was joined by several other opposition leaders for the meeting. Top leaders of the Congress, the Left, Samajwadi Party, BSP, TMC and other parties opposed to the BJP are attending the program which is being seen as Yadav's show of strength against his party chief Nitish Kumar's decision to ally with the BJP.
Hitting out at the government for not being able to keep its promises and Rahul said Narendra Modi wanted to create a 'Swachch Bharat' but people wanted a 'sach Bharat'. "Modiji says he wants to create a Swachch Bharat but we want Sach Bharat. Wherever he goes he lies," Rahul charged.
Hitting back at Rahul for his barbed remarks, union minister Ravi Shankar Prasad questioned his silence on the alleged killing of RSS workers in Kerala, allegedly by CPM cadres.
"How do they consider merciless killing of RSS workers by CPM and its goons in Kerala? Is that part of composite culture?" the senior BJP leader
