New Delhi, May 26: The Congress on Tuesday accused the Arvind Kejriwal-led Delhi government and the Narendra Modi dispensation at the Centre of engaging in a "bitter fratricidal" war.

"Kejriwal and Modi are fighting a bitter fratricidal war. In this fire only the people of Delhi are burning," Congress spokesperson Randeep Surjewala told media persons here, adding: "Kejriwal who is an anarchist, finds it difficult to govern."

Surjewala said: "Modi, who is unable to digest his defeat in the Delhi assembly elections, is trying to wreck the government."

"They should think of the people of Delhi," he said.

Aam Aadmi Party legislator Adarsh Shastri on Tuesday demanded on the floor of the Delhi Assembly that a resolution be passed to amend the constitution to enable state legislatures impeach governors and Lt. governors.
