Poster in UP tells Kashmiris to get out of face consequences

Get out of Uttar Pradesh, if not.... This is a banner put out in Uttar Pradesh warning all Kashmiris to leave the state or face the consequences. This controversial banner is being discussed on the social media and has had mixed reactions.

The banner reads, " Bharatiya Sena pe pattar maarne vale Kashmiriyon ka bahishkar." The banner also goes on to read, " Kashmiriyon, Uttar Pradesh chodi, varna....." The banner has been put up an organisation called, Uttar Pradesh Navnirman Sena. The banner has an image of stone pelters in Kashmir. It has also has a photograph of a person called Amit Jain who has put up the banner.

Kashmir has been on boil for close to a year now. Since the death of Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist, Burhan Wani, incidents of violence have gone up and stone pelters have thronged the streets.

Case registered:

Following the controversy, the UP police have registered an FIR against Amit Jain. The police will call him in for questioning before taking the case forward. The authorities in UP have already directed that the poster be taken down.

Earlier in the day, Union Home Minister, Rajnath Singh criticised such acts. He said that the safety of Kashmiris across the country is of prime importance. All states must take necessary steps to ensure their safety, he also said.
