Delhi MCD Election 2017: BJP preferred Manoj Tiwari's song over Kailash Kher?

Kailash Kher said that he worked on the song for two consecutive days without getting sleep and submitted the song on April 6.

New Delhi, April 11: As the scorching heat has set the temperature soaring, the MCD elections have also raised the political heat in the national capital. The polls are scheduled to be held on April 23.

The BJP is trying its best to regain power in the MCD and the party has also roped in star campaigners to woo voters.

MCD poll: Kailash Kher's

Delhi BJP President and actor-singer Manoj Tiwari is reaching out to locals to listen to their problems. He has even crooned a song to seek attention of the voters.

It has also been reported that the BJP also approached Bollywood singer Kailash Kher to pen down a song for the party.

A leading daily reported that Kher had composed and sung an official song for the party, ahead of MCD elections.

At the same time Delhi BJP Chief Manoj Tiwari also had composed a song anthem for the party- "Bhajpa Dil mein".

As of now, Kher's song has taken a back seat and it may be launched on social media.

Earlier, it was planned that Kher's song "kamal khilana hai" will be launched as a big event, but now it will have a "soft launch."

Kher said that he worked on the song for two consecutive days without getting sleep and submitted the song on April 6.
