Chandrababu Naidu's Oath Taking Ceremony As Andhra CM Delayed: Here's The New Date
TDP Chief N Chandrababu Naidu was supposed to take oath as Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister on June 9. However, the event is now being postponed and he will assume responsibility on a new date.
As per the reports, the swearing-in of Naidu as Andhra Pradesh's chief minister may be pushed to June 12 instead of the initially planned date of June 9. This change is due to Narendra Modi's Prime Ministerial swearing-in ceremony as Prime Minister on May 9.

The TDP secured an impressive victory, winning 16 out of the 25 Lok Sabha seats in Andhra Pradesh. Meanwhile, the BJP, fielding candidates in six seats, secured three wins, and actor-politician Pawan Kalyan's Janasena Party emerged victorious in two seats.
With the BJP falling short of the magic figure of 272 in the Lok Sabha, JDU chief Nitish and Naidu now have leverage to present their demands to the ruling party's high command. The TDP and the JD(U) are the NDA's largest and second-largest allies, with 16 and 12 seats, respectively.
The TDP is likely to demand the speaker post, along with special status for Andhra Pradesh and additional funds to resume the stalled development of the capital at Amravati, which was halted by former chief minister Jagan Mohan Reddy.
In 2018, Naidu exited the Modi government following the then Finance Minister Arun Jaitley's denial of special category status for Andhra Pradesh.
Also, a significant demand is for funds to complete the long-pending Polavaram irrigation project, which Naidu pledged to finish within two years during his election campaign.
In the Andhra assembly polls, the TDP-led NDA has emerged victorious in 164 seats out of 175 seats.
