Burger King opens in New Delhi; offers pre-order option via ebay

, Nov 5: The King of Burgers-the Burger King-is all set to establish its empire in the Indian market. It is likely to set shops in New Delhi at the Select City Walk mall on Nov 9 this year. But you will not have to wait till then as you can pre-order chicken, mutton or vegetarian 'Whopper' burgers at ebay at a special promotional flat price of Rs 128 (inclusive of all taxes). It is to be mentioned here that the American giant has tied up with e-commerce major ebay.

The promotional order will also give customers 'Whopper' t-shirts along with the burger and each customer is eligible for just 2 vouchers. Customers will receive a coupon via courier, which needs to be presented at the store to get their burgers. Pre-orders can be placed till Nov 5, but there might be an extension of date at the descretion of the company.

In a Facebook post on Wednesday, the Burger King said,"Thank you for such an overwhelming response to our WhopperShopper Sale on eBay India and for giving us such a heartwarming welcome already! See you on the 9th - hope you're all as excited as we are! (sic)"

It also notified its customers that it will not have any beef options in its menu. "We have a wide range of options you'll love. We do not have beef on our menu but our options will certainly delight you," it said in an earlier thread on FB.
