Punjab to Host 3-Day Event in Anandpur Sahib Honouring Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji’s Martyrdom

Anandpur Sahib is set to host a significant event this year, drawing the attention of Punjab with reverence and pride. The Punjab government has organised a three-day religious programme to commemorate the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji and his companions, Bhai Mati Das Ji, Bhai Sati Das Ji, and Bhai Dayala Ji. This grand event will take place from 23rd to 25th November 2025, celebrating Sikh history and sacrifice.

The programme will commence on 23rd November in a deeply spiritual atmosphere. Chief Minister Sardar Bhagwant Singh Mann and National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal will attend the Akhand Path's start, symbolising devotion and service in Sikh tradition. Following this, an exhibition on Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji's life will be inaugurated. The exhibition aims to educate youth about why Guru Sahib sacrificed his life for religion, human rights, and humanity.

Unity Through Interfaith Conference

An interfaith conference is scheduled for 11 a.m. on 23rd November. Representatives from various religions and communities will gather to discuss universal themes like unity, brotherhood, and human rights. This conference highlights that Sikh history conveys a message for all humanity—protecting others, standing for truth, and respecting all beliefs.

In the evening, visitors can enjoy guided tours of Virasat-e-Khalsa and related monuments to connect with their roots and traditions. The night will feature a drone show as the main attraction, showcasing Guru Sahib's martyrdom, Khalsa Panth's legacy, and Punjab's glorious history through lights.

This three-day event will create an environment filled with stories, hymns, devotion, community service, and fellowship. Attendees will leave with deeper respect and reverence for Guru Sahibs in their hearts.
