AadhaarStars video contest: Give your child a chance to shine on internet and win cash prizes too!
The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has announced a video contest "AadhaarStars" in which children have to highlight benefits of having Aadhaar card.
Bengaluru, April 18: In an attempt to promote Aadhaar Card scheme, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led NDA government has come up with an innovative method to encourage more enrolments.
The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has announced a social media video contest "AadhaarStars" in which children have to highlight benefits of having Aadhaar card and need to enrol for Aadhaar. The contestants have to submit their videos by April 22.
The duration of the video should not exceed 30 seconds and it can be in any Indian language.The content of the message should be original.
The judgement will be based on the message, creativity and level of entertainment. Top 70 videos will be shortlisted.
The finalists will be contacted on May 3. Top 20 winners, judged based on creativity and how well the message has been conveyed will receive a cash prize of Rs 5,000 and the next 50 winners will receive cash prize of Rs 1,000 each.

However, children of UIDAI employees are not eligible to participate in the contest.
