A shocking video had surfaced from 'Captain Miller' pre-release event held in Chennai on Thursday. In the video, a woman was seen thrashing a man.

Why Did VJ Aishwarya Slapped A Man At Captain Miller Event?

A fan's video shared on X showcased a gathering around Ragupathi and a man during the event. In the footage, Ragupathi grabbed the man's collar, confronted and slapped him. As he tried to distance himself from her within the crowd, others stepped in, questioning why he had caused her discomfort.

However, the anchor has opened up on the incident on her Instagram page. She has claimed that the said man had sexually harassed her.

She said, "In that crowd, a guy harassed me. I faced him immediately and didn't let go until I started beating him. He ran, but I chased him, refusing to release my grip. I wasn't able to accept that he had the guts to grab a woman's body part. I shouted & attacked him. I have good people around me, and I know there are lots of kind and respectful humans in the world. But I feel too scared to be around these few per cent of monsters.!!!"

It may be recalled that Aishwarya had a similar experience when she was forcefully garlanded at the pre-release event of Mansoor Ali Khan's 'Sarakku' by Cool Suresh, who shot to fame with 'Bigg Boss Tamil 7'.

The event was held at the Nehru Stadium which had the presence of the cast and crew of the film including Kannada superstar Shivaraj Kumar.
