Tamil Actress VJ Chitra's Suicide Case: Husband Acquitted By Mahila Court

Hemanth, the husband of the late Tamil TV actress Chitra, along with six others, has been acquitted in connection with her death on Saturday.

The Tiruvallur Fast Track Mahila Court, presided over by Judge Revathi, ordered Hemanth's release, stating that there was no motive for Chitra's death and no evidence to support the claim that she was murdered.

Initially, it was alleged that Hemanth had repeatedly questioned her about the scenes she had filmed before arriving at the hotel. Chitra had been shooting at EVP Film City, and Hemanth reportedly suspected her of getting close to a few male actors.
