Sunny Deol Confronts Photographers After Immersing Dharmendra's Ashes

Sunny Deol was seen confronting photographers again in a new viral video, this time during late actor Dharmendra's final rites. The clip shows Sunny reacting strongly to cameras around the family, as arguments over privacy continue to follow Dharmendra's death and the intense media attention around the Deol home.

The latest video appears to be from the rituals where Sunny Deol and relatives immersed Dharmendra's ashes. In the footage, Sunny walks towards a photographer, grabs the camera, and scolds the person for filming the private ceremony, accusing the photographer of doing it purely for money.

The clip, widely shared on X (formerly Twitter), captures Sunny's anger as he repeatedly questions the photographer's intentions. Sunny is heard asking, "Paise chahiye tereko, kitne paise chahiye?" (How much money do you want?). The moment underlines Sunny's demand for limits when cameras follow families during grief.

Viewers online backed Sunny Deol after the ashes immersion video surfaced, with many posts asking paparazzi to show restraint. Fans argued that constant filming outside hospitals, homes, and now at rituals crossed basic lines, especially when an 89-year-old family elder had just died.

Earlier Sunny Deol paparazzi video from November surfaces again

This confrontation is linked to an earlier incident in November, when photographers gathered outside the Deol residence soon after Dharmendra returned from hospital. Videos from that day show Sunny coming out of the house, addressing the media directly, and appealing for dignity during a difficult phase for the family.

In those clips, Sunny is seen folding hands towards the paparazzi and asking them to stop. He tells them to "have some shame." Sunny had already criticised the media before, calling their actions "shameless" when cameras surrounded his home and tried to capture private family moments.

Another video from that November episode records Sunny saying, "Aap logon ko sharam aani chahiye… Aapke ghar mein maa-baap hain, bacche hain... Ch*****n ki tarah video liye jaa rahe ho.. Sharam nahi aati (You guys should be ashamed of yourself. You also have parents, have kids… yet you are making videos like idiots… You should be ashamed of yourself)." The outburst followed several days of constant media presence.

Dharmendra had been admitted to Mumbai's Breach Candy Hospital earlier in November after experiencing breathing problems and respiratory discomfort. Although Dharmendra was discharged around 12 November and was recovering at his Mumbai residence, his condition suddenly worsened. Dharmendra died on 24 November at the age of 89 at home.

The veteran star is survived by first wife Prakash Kaur and second wife Hema Malini, along with children Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Ajeeta Deol, Vijeta Deol, Esha Deol, and Ahana Deol. The back-to-back videos of Sunny arguing with paparazzi have sparked ongoing debate about celebrity privacy, media limits, and how far cameras should follow families during mourning.
