'Wedding That Was Never Going to Happen': Siya's Deleted Chat Adds New Twist To Ketan Agarwal Murder Probe

The murder case of the Pune-based realtor, Ketan Agarwal, is being investigated and has brought forth yet another piece of digital evidence when the police allegedly found deleted chats on the mobile phone of the accused, Siya Goyal. These messages are under analysis by investigators to find out whether they hint at any preparations for the case.

These messages are among other deleted information which have been found on the mobile phone of the accused.

Deleted Chat Under Police Scanner

As per the investigators, one of the retrieved conversations reveal that Siya Goyal asked her friend to send her the pictures of both sides of her Aadhaar card.

The message reportedly reads as follows:

"Adhar card front back bhejde. For wedding tickets jo hone nai wali parr fir bhi bhej de."
(Translation: "Send me the pictures of the front and back side of your Aadhaar card. I need it for booking wedding tickets for a wedding that is not going to happen ever, but still send it.")

Her friend replied to this message saying that she had sent her Aadhaar card pictures on WhatsApp.

The police are currently trying to decipher the meaning behind this conversation and its relevance to the murder case.

Digital Evidence Being Analysed

The recovered chat is one of those deleted chats that have been obtained from the seized mobile phones.

Previously, the police told the court that they have found some deleted chats that contain code words, nicknames, and emojis. They think that these deleted chats will assist them in knowing whether or not the accused used coded language for conspiring in the crime.
They are trying to find out whether or not these deleted chats indicate any other person's participation in the crime.

Siya Goyal and Chetan Chaudhary in Judicial Custody

Siya Goyal and Chetan Chaudhary are in judicial custody for the next 14 days as they refused to take a polygraph test.

Further analysis of digital evidence is being conducted by the police through the mobile phones and other gadgets of both the accused.

Beed Youth Interrogated

Not only this, but the investigation has also widened to another district.
A youth from the Beed district has been interrogated by the police following the news that the two had shared details about the murder plan with him.

It is claimed by the investigating authorities that the youth had advised the two not to follow through with the alleged plan. His statement is under verification.

Second Mobile Phone Recovered

In addition, the authorities have managed to confiscate a second mobile phone which is believed to be hidden by Siya Goyal.
The mobile phone will be forensically analyzed to find more information, which will assist the authorities in constructing the sequence of events.

It is believed that the digital evidence from both mobile phones will be important in helping the authorities construct the timeline of the events leading to the murder of Ketan Agarwal.
