The digital rights for their much-anticipated upcoming film have been sold to a leading OTT platform for an astonishing Rs 149 crore, breaking all previous records in Tamil cinema. This monumental deal outshines previous digital rights agreements, including Suriya's 'Kanguva', which fetched Rs 100 crore across all language versions, and Ajith's 'Good Bad Ugly', which secured Rs 95 crore.

Even Vijay's highly anticipated 'GOAT' was sold for Rs 110 crore, a record that now pales in comparison to the Haasan-Ratnam combo.

The project, which wrapped up shooting today, is slated for a summer 2025 release, further heightening expectations around the film.
