'Fighter' Movie Review: What's Good, What's Bad; Find Out From Viewers' Words

Hrithik Roshan's much-hyped movie 'Fighter' has hit the screens worldwide on Friday to coincide with the Republic Day celebration. The movie is directed by Siddharth Anand of 'War' and 'Pathaan' fame.

'Fighter' Story

The story of the movie revolves around Squadron Leader Shamsher Pathania (Patty), played by Hrithik Roshan), and a braver fighter pilot in the Indian Army. Squadron Leader Minni (Deepika Padukone) is his colleague. Patty bears the weight of a tragic past, having lost his fiancée, Naina Jaisingh, who was also a former Air Force officer.

Group Captain Rakesh Singh, also known as Rocky (Anil Kapoor), leads the Air Force team, which includes Patty and Minni, responding to the Pulwama Attack orchestrated by a Pakistani-based terror outfit. Despite the Pakistan government's opposition, Azhar Akhtar (Rishab Sawhney), a Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorist, plans a Jihadi mission.

How the Air Force, led by Rocky, counters the orchestrated threat forms the crux of the story.

The movie has piqued the viewers' interest with promotional clips and songs. Especially 'Ishq Jaisa Kuch' has stuck a chord with the youths. The prime attraction of the movie is the brilliant visuals and the sizzling chemistry between the lead actors.
