Tamil Nadu SSLC Result 2024: TN Board To Declare Marks Tomorrow; Here's How To Check Your Scores Online

The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations will announce the results for the Class 10 (SSLC) on Friday at 9.30 am.

This year's Class 10 exams, conducted from March 26 to April 8, witnessed a significant turnout, with a staggering nine lakh students participating. The examinations were held across the state, facilitated by over 4,000 examination centers established by the Directorate of Government Examinations.

A total of 9,10,024 students from 12,616 schools took part in the exams, comprising 4,57,525 boys, 4,52,498 girls, and one transgender student. Additionally, 28,827 students, including 235 prisoners, sat for the exams as private candidates.

In Chennai alone, approximately 67,000 students are expected to sit for the board exams, spread across 296 centers.

Here's how to check your results:

• Visit the official websites of the Tamil Nadu State Board Examination: dge.tn.gov.in and tnresults.nic.in.
• Look for the link labeled "Class 10 Examination Results" and click on it.
• Input your registration number and date of birth (ensure the date of birth follows the format: dd/mm/yyyy).
• Once submitted, a new page will appear.
• You'll now be able to view your exam result and download it as a PDF file for printing, if required.

To successfully pass the TN SSLC board exams, students must attain a minimum score of 35 in each subject, with at least 20 out of 75 marks in theory and 15 out of 25 marks in the practical section.
