Tamil Nadu BSP Chief K Armstrong Hacked To Death Near Residence In Chennai's Perambur
In a tragic incident in Chennai's Perambur area, Armstrong, the state president of the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), was reportedly brutally attacked and killed by a gang of six unidentified assailants on Friday.

The assailants, riding two-wheelers, ambushed Armstrong near his residence in Perambur, inflicting severe injuries before fleeing the scene. He was rushed to Thousand Lamps Apollo Hospital for urgent medical care but succumbed to his injuries en route, as confirmed by the police.
Authorities have initiated a thorough investigation into the murder. According to police, the motive behind the murder is unclear at the moment.
The body of the politician was shifted to Rajiv Gandhi General Hospital for a post-mortem examination.
According to police reports, BSP Tamil Nadu chief Armstrong was overseeing the construction of a new house. Around 7 pm, when Armstrong arrived to inspect the site, six unidentified men on bikes ambushed and attacked him.
Four of the attackers were dressed as food delivery agents.
The police have obtained nearby CCTV footage and are using it to aid in the search for the suspects.
Meanwhile, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) workers and supporters block a road in Chennai as they protest against the murder of Tamil Nadu BSP president Armstrong. They are demanding immediate arrest of the accused.
AIADMK General Secretary Palaniswami Condemns Murder
Edappadi K Palaniswami, former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu and AIADMK General Secretary, expressed profound shock over Armstrong's untimely demise. He condemned the incident, criticising the state's law and order situation under the current administration, alleging a breakdown in governance.
BJP President K Annamalai Condemns Brutal Murder
K Annamalai, President of BJP Tamil Nadu, also expressed deep shock at the brutal murder of Armstrong, the BSP State President.
He extended condolences to Armstrong's family and supporters during this difficult time, emphasizing solidarity with the Bahujan Samaj Party.
