Tactics Used In Other States Won’t Work in Tamil Nadu: MK Stalin To Amit Shah

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin on Friday said that the Delhi administration cannot rule the state and indicated that the BJP will not come to power in the state.

Stalin Slams Amit Shah

"Union Minister Amit Shah says that in 2026, they will form a government. I am challenging and saying to him, Tamil Nadu will never yield to Delhi's administration... that much uniqueness we have. What you do in other states by breaking parties and with raids forming the government won't work in Tamil Nadu. This formula won't work here... Tamil Nadu is always out of control of Delhi...." ANI quoted Stalin as saying.

Tactics Used In Other States Won t Work in Tamil Nadu MK Stalin To Amit Shah

It comes a week after Amit Shah announced the alliance with the AIADMK ahead of 2026 assembly polls in Tamil Nadu.

Stalin then targeted Amit Shah on the NEET and the Hindi language imposition. The TN CM said, "I want to ask Union Home Minister Amit Shah, can he give assurance to provide exemption from NEET? Can he give assurance that you won't impose Hindi? Can he list out the release of special funds to Tamil Nadu? Can you give your word that delimitation won't reduce seats (of Tamil Nadu in parliamentary elections)? If we are diverting, why didn't you give a proper response to the Tamil Nadu people?"

Stalin Forms Committee For State's Autonomy

Just days ago, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin announced in the assembly that the DMK government will form a committee to recommend measures for the state's autonomy. The DMK has locked horns with the Centre on several issues, including the delimitation exercise and the three language policy. Stalin has also hosted the first Joint Action Committee (JAC) on 'fair delimitation'.

Take a Poll

Meanwhile, AIADMK National Spokesperson Kovai Sathyan has attacked Stalin calling him "impotent Chief Minister"

Sathyan said, "...We have an incompetent chief minister who does not stand up at the right time to protect the rights of Tamil Nadu. He is only interested in making big statements, thinking he is acting in a movie. Stalin, as a DMK leader, has not condemned Mekedatu. Stalin has not condemned the Congress in the assembly till now. He is so spineless that he does not utter a word against his ally. We are clear that our ideology and the ideology of the BJP are not the same. Our stand on NEET is still the same. We do not want NEET in Tamil Nadu..."
