47 IAS and 100 PCS officers transferred in Punjab

Chandigarh, July 14: In a major administrative reshuffle, the Punjab government ordered transfers and posting orders of 47 IAS officers, including several Deputy Commissioners, with immediate effect.

As many as 100 Punjab Civil Service (PCS) officers were also shuffled, an official order said here tonight.

The DCs of Mansa, Bathinda, Gurdaspur, Rupnagar, Pathankot, Ferozepur, Hoshiarpur and Fazilka are among the IAS officers who have been shuffled.

Many secretary and special secretary rank officials were also among those shuffled.
