'Happy New Year' tragedy: Denied to watch movie at theatre, woman dies after consuming acid

The shocking incident happened on Sunday at Khaniya Dana, in Shivpuri district, north of Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.
Neha Sen reportedly passed away after battling for life as her internal organs were burnt due to acid, a news report said.
The report also said that before dying, Neha recorded her police staement where she blamed her husband for her death.
Citing huge crowd, her husband Vishal went to watch movie without taking her, that provoked her to consume acid, after which she was admitted to Gwalior hospital.
The police is investigating the matter.
'Happy New Year' that became commercially hit, but widely criticised for the poor script is directed by Farah Khan and also features Abhishek Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Boman Irani, Jackie Shroff, Sonu Sood and Vivaan Shah.
