Ranchi Girl Avni Kejriwal Scores 500/500 Marks In CBSE Class 12 After Re-Evaluation

A Class 12 student from Ranchi has achieved a remarkable milestone after a re-evaluation of her CBSE board exam answer sheets changed her result from a high score to a perfect one.Avni Kejriwal, a commerce student of Delhi Public School SAIL Township, Ranchi, secured 500 marks out of 500 in the CBSE Class 12 examinations after her answer sheets were reviewed during the re-evaluation process.

With this achievement, she emerged as one of the national toppers in the commerce stream. Avni had initially scored around 95.2 per cent, but she believed that her performance did not match the marks she received. She decided to apply for re-evaluation, particularly after noticing unexpected deductions in subjects where she was confident about her answers.

The review resulted in an increase of 24 marks, taking her final score to a perfect 100 per cent.The student reportedly received full marks in all five subjects after the revised evaluation. Her case has drawn attention as an example of how the re-evaluation system can help correct genuine errors in assessment.

Speaking about the achievement, Avni said the result was unexpected and that her family was extremely happy. She had been particularly surprised by the marks deducted in English, which she considered one of her strongest subjects, prompting her to seek a review.The CBSE had opened the Class 12 verification and re-evaluation process after students raised concerns over their marks.

The board allowed students to apply for scanned copies of answer sheets and request re-evaluation through its official process. Avni's success has brought pride to Ranchi, with her achievement being celebrated as a moment of determination, confidence and perseverance. Her journey also highlights the importance of students having faith in their preparation and using available academic review processes when they feel their performance has not been accurately reflected.
