Bangalore, Dec 9: Former Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa today formally rejoined the

, more than a year after he deserted the party and floated his own outfit.

Twitter flooded with sarcastic tweets over BJP's decision of taking Yeddyurappa back in the party.

"Let us forget the past....let us remove the mutual suspicion and work together as the children of a mother", said Yeddyurappa, who had announced the decision of his party Karnataka Janata Paksha (KJP) to merge with BJP a week ago.
