Bengaluru Power Cut On May 30: BESCOM Announces 8-Hour Shutdown in These Areas

Bengaluru power cut: The Bangalore Electricity Supply Company (BESCOM) has announced scheduled power outages across several areas in Bengaluru from May 29 to May 31, 2025. The outages are due to ongoing underground cable installation work and road widening projects. Residents are advised to plan accordingly to mitigate inconvenience during the power cut periods.

Bengaluru power cut on May 30 (Friday)

• Hindu crematorium area

• Nearby areas

Bescom power outage on May 31 (Saturday):

• Court area
• Ayyappa Swamy Temple area
• Telephone Exchange area
• Majjige Kunti
• Degree College Road
• Kuvempu Nagar
• Kadu Badavane
• Kammava Nagar
• Thyagaraja Layout
• Doddagattiganahalli Road
• Nandashree area

The assistant executive engineer of BESCOM Hoskote subdivision has stated that power supply will be interrupted in the above areas.

Power Outage in Devanahalli

In Vijayapura town, there will be power disruption from May 29 to May 30, between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM, due to road widening work on Kempapura Road and Kolar Road near Shiva Circle.

• Mittanahalli
• Kolar Road
• Vijayapura Police Station and surrounding areas
