Speak Asia panelists hold peace rally in Mumbai

The peace rally was organized by panelists in Mumbai at Azad Maidan, near CST station. Investors said that they are conducting rally in other parts of the country too. Media reported that some of the panelists held a bike rally in Pune.
Earlier, on Wednesday, Speak Asia investors held a rally in Indore and submitted a memorandum to President Pratibha Patil stating their points supporting Speak Asia. The rally was organized by Speak Asia Panelist Welfare Forum.
According to the Speak Asia supporters, a false propaganda was being done against Speak Asia. They also alleged that government have frozen the bank accounts of the firm, so that the company can not give money back to investors.
Meanwhile, on Thursday, Mumbai police arrested another key person in connection with the scam, which has been estimated as big as Rs 2,000 crore. Police officials said that they arrested Rahul Shah, vice president of Tulsient Information System Pvt Ltd, a Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) unit that looked after Speak Asia's financial affairs.
