Maha Govt to appeal, seek life sentence for Susairaj, Jerome

According to the senior official, Jerome and Susairaj were charged by the police under section 302 (IPC) and the government was going to appeal against the verdict that came last week.
Meanwhile, according to reports, Maria under threat in Mumbai followed advice from near ones and left Mumbai. Susairaj decided to cancel her flight to Bangalore and chose to travel by road after witnessing the public outrage in Mumbai following her release from the jail. The members of MNS also threatened her after she was out from the jail.
Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) said that it would do its best to stop any efforts made by media houses or film directors to cast Susairaj.
Maria Susairaj hogged the limelight after she along with her Naval officer fiance murdered television executive Neeraj Grover after he was found naked with Maria in her flat.
While Maria was let off after she served a term of 3 years in the jail, Jerome was sentenced for 10 years in jail. Maria's release has attracted public outrage as many are of the opinion that she was let off lightly by the Mumbai High Court.
