Army jawan commits suicide in Jammu

Jammu, Feb 15 (PTI) An army jawan allegedly committedsuicide by hanging himself inside a bathroom of an army campin Jammu city.

Havaldar Tukka Ram Romesh of Mumbai, posted with 526Army Supply Corps, allegedly committed suicide by hanginghimself inside the bathroom in Ambhalla area of Jammu cityyesterday, they said.

When Romesh did not return from bathroom hiscolleagues forced their entry and found the jawan dead, theysaid, adding he was shifted to Military Hospital at Satwariwhere doctors declared him brought dead.

A court of inquiry has been ordered into the incidentby the army.
