Two NATO oil tankers destroyed in Pakistan

QUETTA, PAKISTAN: Two NATO oil tankers in Pakistan were destroyed on Monday by unidentified people who opened fire against them, local media reported.

According to officials, three oil tankers carrying fuel for NATO troops stationed in the southwestern region of Afghanistan were on their way to Kandahar via Quetta, but the group of gunmen attacked the tankers in the Mitri area of Balochistan, Pakistan, which is located around 200 kilometers (124 miles) southeast of Quetta, the Express Tribune reported.

During the attack, two of the tankers caught fire and were completely destroyed. However, no casualties were reported after the incident.
