Air India pilots threaten to go on strike
Mumbai, Feb 7 (PTI) Toughening its posture against thedeferment of payment of January salary to February 14 byAir India management, a section of its pilots today threatenedto go on a flash strike to protest the move.
"We demand that our salaries should be disbursed by 5pmof February 10, failing which we will go on flash strike,"Indian Commercial Pilots Association General Secretary (ICPA)Capt Rishabh Kapoor told PTI here tonight.
The management has deferred the salary twice in thismonth, Kapoor said adding this is not acceptable to pilots.
