Why the traditional English breakfast of bacon, eggs could soon be history
London, Jan 25 (ANI): Back in the olden days, the traditional English breakfast included bacon, fried egg, sausages and black pudding - but soon it could be history.
According to a new survey, only one in a 100 people prefer the 'full English' fry-up, possibly for health reasons.
According to the Good Food channel's Market Kitchen Breakfast Report, the 'Full Monty' fry-up, which averages 1,000 calories, is being replaced with less fattening options.
"A hearty hot breakfast came into being during the Industrial Revolution, setting workers up for a day of hard physical work," the Daily Mail quoted the report as saying.
However, today people don't have the time or the money to indulge in such a hearty and rich breakfast, it added. (ANI)
