Blast victim kin holds govt responsible

Varanasi, Dec 9: Post the terrible bomb blast in Varanasi, the father of the girl who lost her life has accused the government for failing to provide security to the masses. Swastika, a two year old girl lost her life in the deadly blast that injured many others.

Santhosh Kumar Sharma, a college professor and father of Swastika blamed the government authorities for failing to provide a safe environment for public and claimed that the govt should equally be blamed for his loss.

Sharma said, “I personally demand to stop aarati because authorities has failed to provide security for commoners and henceforth, I don't want any innocent to be killed."

"I know ultimately terrorists will be blamed for my daughters death, at the same time even government agencies are to be blamed as well because they too hold the responsibility of providing a terror free environment to the common people," he added.

Sharma said that, if authorities do not accept his demand then he will ask to confine the aarati to one ghat, which is currently being performed in ten ghats.
