Eight militants killed in two US drone strikes in N.Waziristan
Peshawar, Oct 28 (ANI): At least eight militants were killed in two US drone strikes in Pakistan's North Waziristan tribal region, according to local security officials.
The officials said that the first drone strike occurred early Wednesday morning at a house in the Spin Wam area of North Waziristan, killing five people, The Nation reported.
The second attack took place early afternoon when a drone fired a missile at a vehicle in the Dattakhel area, killing three suspected militants, they added.
US drones have killed over 1,800 people so far in more than 180 strikes staged inside Pakistani territory since June 18, 2004, according to sources. (ANI)
