Android smartphones create trouble to Apple

According to the latest data from ComScore, Apple's mobile operating system, iOS, has actually lost 1.3 percent of its market share in the three months ended in Jul 2010. On the other hand, Google Android's market share rose an incredible 5 percent in the same period.
Most of the smartphone manufacturers like Samsung and HTC are using Android OS, which increased the shipment of Android laden devices at a rate of 886 percent in the second quarter of 2010. Many market analysts predicted that the Android, which had just 2.7 percent of the global market share in 2009, will control 19.4 percent by 2012. The current growth rate of Android shows that it will become the second most popular smartphone OS after Nokia's Symbian.
