Android smartphones create trouble to Apple

San Francisco, Sep 17: The latest report from the smartphone market shows that the innovative giant, Apple Inc, is facing loss to the Google Android.

According to the latest data from ComScore, Apple's mobile operating system, iOS, has actually lost 1.3 percent of its market share in the three months ended in Jul 2010. On the other hand, Google Android's market share rose an incredible 5 percent in the same period.

Most of the smartphone manufacturers like Samsung and HTC are using Android OS, which increased the shipment of Android laden devices at a rate of 886 percent in the second quarter of 2010.
