110-yr-old Pak man kills 80-yr-old wife over 'minor dispute'

Islamabad, July 10 (ANI): A 110-year-old man in Pakistan brutally attacked his 80-year-old wife with an iron rod and killed her over a 'minor dispute'.

Nathal Bhatti, a retired Pakistan Railways employee, is said to have hit his wife, Sardaran Bibi, on the temple with an iron rod while she was sleeping in the courtyard of her house.

The reason for the attack is believed to have been because of the victim's disappearance from the house.

Bhatti told investigators that he often found his wife missing when he would return from work and it infuriated him.

"We... found Bhatti sitting on a chair in the street, holding the iron rod," Daily Times quoted Nishtar Colony Sub-Inspector Akbar Ali as saying. (ANI)
