Kingfisher bomb case: Prime suspect held
Thiruvananthapuram, Mar 28: In a major breakthrough in Kingfisher crude bomb case, Kerala police have taken the prime suspect into custody.
According to police, a former contract employee at the airport is suspected to have planted the explosive in the aircraft.
However, the investigators refused to disclose the man's name and said that it would be revealed after completing all formalities.
Sources said that he was taken into custody two days ago and is being interrogated.
"There are strong reasons to believe that he is the key person behind the incident," a senior police official was quoted by news agency as saying.
On Sunday, Mar 21, a crude explosive material wrapped in paper was found in the cargo-hold of a Kingfisher flight which arrived here from Bangalore.
