Niece's rape allegations against own dad could've nailed 'British Fritzl' years ago

London, Dec 1 : In a rather horrific turn of events, evidence has emerged, which show that authorities should have probed the misdeeds of "British Fritzl" long back.

The 56-year-old monster, nicknamed "The Gaffer," raped his two sex-slave daughters thousands of times in the span of 30 years, making them pregnant 19 times.

And now, his niece has come out in open to claim that she had made rape allegations against her own father when she was eight, which should have prompted the social services to make a full-scale investigation.

Had that been done, the sex beast's inhuman treatment with the girls should have ended long back.

The girl, who is now in her twenties and legally cannot be identified, repeated her allegations again to foster parents when she was put in care but later retracted them.

She was also allegedly raped by a nightwatchman and assaulted by another man who committed suicide after the police began investigating the attack.

"If they had just done their jobs properly, my uncle could have been stopped and some of those kids might not have been born," The Daily star quoted her as saying.

She added: "I had no idea what was going on because I didn't see them that often. But I did get suspicious once, when they came round here.

"I saw him looking at his daughter - and I mean, he was proper looking. And I was going to ask him why he was staring at her like she was his girlfriend. But I didn't, because I knew about his temper, and I couldn't prove it."

However, the Gaffer was given 25 life sentences last week after his sick reign of terror was exposed a few weeks back.

The case bears stark similarities with Austrian Dungeon dad Josef Fritzl, 73, who kept his daughter Elisabeth, locked in a dungeon for 24 years, fathering seven children with her.
