WD to hit J
Srinagar, Nov 18 (UNI) Kashmir valley recorded the coldest night of the season a day before the Western Disturbance (WD), from Arabian Sea through Afghanistan and Pakistan, is likely to hit the region tomorrow.
Public Relations Officer (PRO) of Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, Aamir Ali said a WD is likely to affect Jammu and Kashmir during Novenber 19 and 20.
He said under its influence light to moderate rainfall is likely at a few places.
Meanwhile, people in Srinagar and its adjoining areas continued to shiver after the minimum temperature dipped further to minus 1.2 degrees Celsius.
Minimum temperature of minus five to ten degrees C was recorded in different hilly areas, including Leh, Kargil, Drass, Nobra, Keran, Karnah and Pahalgam.
