UP govt reviews progress work of national highways

Lucknow, Nov 18 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh governemnt today reviewed the progress of repair work of the national highways, besides various projects of the National Highway Authority (NHA) in the state.

UP chief minister Mayawati, in a high-level meeting at her residence, reviewed the progress of the projects and passed necessary directions to the officials regarding the construction and repair of the highways and roads.

In the meet, the state government also apprised the NHA officers about the slow progress of its various projects naming Lucknow-Sitapur highway, Lucknow-Kanpur highway, Kanpur-Jhansi highway, Basti-Gorakhpur-Kushinagar highway and also the Lucknow bypass.
