Two killed, 12 others injured in bus-truck collision in Hapur

Hapur, Nov 18 (UNI) Two members of a family were killed and 12 others were injured in the early hours of today, when a mini bus and a truck collided here in Uttar Pradesh.

According to ACP Satish Chandra, Ahmedabad resident Ashok and his family were returning from Hardwar in a mini bus when their vehicle collided with an oncoming truck on the Meerut road.

Mr Chandra said in the accident, which took place due to heavy fog, bus driver Lala (41) and Vikram (14) died on the spot.

Nine of the twelve injured were admitted to a private hospital in the city and three of the critically injured sent to Delhi for treatment, Mr Chandra added.
