RBI employees and officers to go on mass casual leave on Dec1

Kolkata, Nov 18(UNI) Employees and officers of Reserve Bank of India will go on mass casual leave across the country on December one and two demanding restoration of revised pension for the retired employees.

United Forum of Reserve Bank Officers and Employees, a platform of four organisations, said in a statement today that the Government had suddenly withdrawn the upgraded pension that the superannuated employees had been getting for six years.

The measure, taken last month, reduced the pension amount by Rs 1,000 to Rs 5,500 per month, the statement alleged.
