European Union team visits fishing harbour

Visakhapatnam, Nov 18 (UNI) A two-member team from the European Union(EU) today visited the Fishing Harbour here and inspected the Hygiene and Sanitary conditions there to assess the suitability and adjudge the grade for sea Food Exports from tomorrow.

The EU team learnt about the system followed for unloading of Catch from the boats, transport, auction, export cubicles, Tuna long -Liners Fish Storage and other facilities in the harbour.

It also inspected the process plants.
