Col Purohit sent to judicial custody till Nov 29
Nashik, Nov 18 (UNI) The District and Sessions Court here today sent Lt Col Prasad Purohit, accused in the September 29 Malegaon bomb blast, to judicial custody till November 29.
Purohit was produced before Justice H K Ganatra (fourth joint civil judge, senior division) as his police custody expired today.
The court has sent him to judicial custody for 11 days.
The court also handed over Purohit to Pune ATS from their Mumbai counterparts for further investigation as per their demand for his custody following a complaint registered by one Amit Date, a resident of Pune.
