Centre gives assistance to Chandigarh Carnival
New Delhi, Nov 18 (UNI) Union Tourism Ministry has sanctioned Central Financial Assistance amounting to Rs.15 lakh to the Chandigarh Administration for organising the two-day Chandigarh Carnival from November 22.
Chandigarh Carnival is the annual mega tourism festival of the UT Administration.
A lot of cultural activities will be held during these two days which include a theme based carnival village, fun and games, folks of North India, Art and Culture, Culture and cuisine of North India and two mega musical nites which also attract additional tourist traffic besides the local people.
