Cable Corporation to operate plants 4 days a week
New Delhi, Nov 18 (UNI) Cable Corporation of India Ltd, today said in order to rationalise the production, it has decided to operate its plants four days a week.
In view of the ongoing financial crunch, high interest cost, inadequate funding, a slow down in the economy and taking into account the inventory in pipeline and the suppressed market demand, the company has decide to opearte its plants four days a week, it said in a statement.
However, this will be reviewed on a weekly basis based on the ongoing developments, it added.
Cable Corporation has two plants located in Borivali and Nashik.
