5 killed, 9 injured in accident in Solapur
Solapur, Nov 17 (UNI) Five people, including two women, were killed and nine others seriously injured, when a tempo-trax they were travelling in collided with a private bus near Pimpalner under Kurduvadi police juridiction here late this evening.
The tempo was returning to Kurduvadi from the Pimpalner when the accident took place, Senior Inspector of Kurduvadi police station R B Bhosale told UNI over the phone.
The deceased have been identified as Rikmini Dali Kambale (60), Shashikala Vane (30), Sari Vane, Panch Kambale (35), while the name of the one person could not be assertained, he added.
Police said, ''The injured have been admitted to Solapur district hospital. Bodies of the deceased were handed over to their relatives after conducting post mortem.'' UNI SP SBC KN2350
