PTU VC may announced on Nov 18

Jalandhar, Nov 14 (UNI) Vacant post of Vice-Chancellor of Punjab Technical University (PTU) may be filled on November 18, Tajinder Kaur, Principal Secretary, Technical Education with an additional charge of VC of PTU, today said.

A meeting of the VC Search Committee, headed by Punjab Chief Secretary Ramesh Inder Singh, would be held on November 18 in which name of the new VC would be finalised, she said.

The post of VC of PTU was lying vacant since the resignation of S K Salwan from his post citing some personal reasons and as a temporary arrangement, Tejinder Kaur was holding the post of VC of PTU.
