Couple die as dumper truck hits car

New Delhi, Nov 11 (UNI) A young couple died in the Uttam Nagar area of west Delhi this evening after a speeding dumper truck hit their car.

According to sources, Tarun Nigam (28) and his wife Sandhya (26) were in the car, when the dumper truck hit them at around 1700 hrs in Bindapur near Navada village.

In severely injured condition, both were rushed to the Deendayal Upadhyay Hospital but were declared brought dead.

Eye witnesses said the dumper hit the car from behind.

The couple were a resident of Rohini.
