Mettur water level at 87.820 ft

Tiruchirapalli, Nov 3 (UNI) The water level in the Stanley Reservoir at Mettur across River Cauvery stood at 87.820 feet this morning as against its total capacity of 120 feet.

PWD sources said the inflow into the dam was 10,553 cusecs while the discharge was 11,989 cusecs.

From the Grand Anaicut, 2,531 cusecs was discharged through River Cauvery and 3,672 cusecs through Vennar, 2,017 cusecs through Grand Anaicut Canal and 814 cusecs through Coleroon for irrigation.
