Bulgarian Princess visits Santhigiri Ashram

Thiruvananthapuram, Nov 2 (UNI) Scion of the Bulgarian Royal family and well known international businesswoman Peni Kangas, today visited the Santhigiri Ashram and described the experience as ''spiritually energising''.

Dr Kangas, a doctor in alternative medicine and head of eight international companies, spent the entire day at the ashram, interacting with its inmates. She also visited the Santhigiri Siddha Medical College Hospital.

''I have visited many ashrams but this one will remain my favourite,'' she said.

Dr Kangas, who is well versed in Indian theological philosophy, including the Vedas, Upanishads and Bhagwad Gita, said she liked to visit Kerala and came here often.

Settled in Miami in the US, she said she found many similarities between Kerala and Miami in their climate and natural beauty.

Dr Kangas, known for her twin passions in spirituality and business, is the President of Beta Corporate Services.
