SpiceJet posts 53 pc growth in Operating Revenue for Q2
Mumbai, Nov 1 (UNI) Budget air-carrier SpiceJet has posted a 53 per cent growth in its Operating Revenue at Rs 223 crore for the second quarter ended September 2008 of the current fiscal, from Rs 340 crore for the corresponding period of previous fiscal.
The growth in Operating Revenue was witnessed on back of a 3 per cent increase in the number of flights in comparison to the same quarter last year, a SpiceJet release said here today.
The company reported a 43 per cent growth in revenue per flight on account of increased passenger yield, the release added.
