Dasmunsi shows no improvement, still on life support
New Delhi, Oct 29 (UNI) The condition of Information and Broadcasting Minister Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi today continued to remain critical, hospital sources said.
''The medical condition of Union Minister Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi remains the same and he continues to be on life support,'' said a spokesperson for the Apollo hospital where Mr Dasmunsi was shifted on October 20 from AIIMS.
Mr Dasmunsi was first admitted to the AIIMS after suffering a complete left ventricular failure and was shifted to the Indraprastha Apollo hospital a week later.
Earlier, he suffered a heart attack on July 6 while on way to Kolkata from Malda after attending a meeting.
He had undergone an angioplasty and stenting of two coronary arteries in a hospital in Kolkata. He also has a history of diabetes and hypertension.
