SPAR launches first supermarket in AP

Hyderabad, Oct 20 (UNI) SPAR, one of the world's largest independent food retail chains, opened its first supermarket in the State at Begumpet.

Spread over 20,000 sq ft, SPAR Supermarket will offer a wide array of quality products in every category ranging from Grocery, Fruits and Vegetables to utensils and kitchen appliances, a press release here said.

''We want to take retailing to a new level in India and give the customer something he has never experienced before -- the finest, freshest quality, widest choice, great value for money and personal and friendly service -- all packaged together for a truly enjoyable shopping experience,'' Mr Viney Singh, Managing Director of Max Hypermarkets, which has set up the store by entering into a license agreement with SPAR International, said according to the press release.
